With 8 years of hands-on experience in engineering and a total of 13 years in the manufacturing sector, Sam brings a wealth of knowledge in safety, process improvement and engineering solutions to our organization.

Sam lives in Winterset, Iowa, where he enjoys spending time with his family. He is an avid motorcyclist and is eagerly anticipating the arrival of his second child, as he and his wife are expecting a new addition to their family. Sam and his wife have one son.

May 20, 2024 - ​March Materials Group is proud to announce Stephen Ryan as the newest member of our Sales Team. Stephen will be responsible for Monarch's Western states as Regional Sale Manager / Western Territory. 

Stephen comes to Monarch after an extensive career in selling residential and commercial building materials. He also brings a vast knowledge of product installation and proper installation techniques. 

Stephen has completed his Monarch product training and is looking forward to meeting with all the Monarch customers in the Western Territory within the next few months. 

Stephan is extremely customer service oriented and will focus on brand awareness, sales growth, and new channel expansion.

The relay race, known for its blend of competitive running, outrageous costumes, and a spirited atmosphere, saw participants race through the scenic Raccoon River Valley Trail System, paved streets, and gravel back roads of west central Iowa.

​Mo Warford, President of Monarch Materials Group, expressed her enthusiasm for supporting such a lively and engaging event. "We love being part of this community. Sponsoring the Market to Market Relay and offering our parking area as an exchange point has been a pleasure for our company for several years now. It’s wonderful to see everyone having fun and coming together," said Warford.

​The weather was perfect, and the atmosphere was upbeat, with participants and spectators alike enjoying the beautiful day and the camaraderie that the race fosters. The Monarch parking area buzzed with energy as runners handed off batons, cheered by onlookers in colorful costumes.

​The Market to Market Relay Iowa race, beyond being a fun-filled event, also contributes to the local community by donating to the Raccoon River Valley Trail. This year’s relay not only highlighted the beauty of west central Iowa but also reinforced the community spirit that Monarch Materials Group cherishes and supports.

Adel, Iowa - March 20, 2024 - Dave Mulcahy, Chairman of the Board of Directors with Monarch Materials Group, is delighted to announce his commitment to the ADM Victory Bell project in Adel, Iowa. This initiative, spearheaded by the ADM Alumni Association in conjunction with Jim Peters, Mayor of Adel, and ADM alumni grad, aims to resurrect a cherished symbol of community pride and spirit.

​The ADM Victory Bell, a historic tradition for 116 years, holds significant sentimental value for the residents of Adel. Unfortunately, the bell was absent from the community for 38 years, leaving a palpable void. In an effort to revive this beloved symbol, the ADM Alumni Association embarked on a journey to design, cast, and produce a new ADM Victory Bell.

The bell will be permanently located in the Tiger Pride Plaza at the new ADM High School campus, visible as fans go in and out of sporting events. It’s close to 30 inches in diameter and weighs 500 pounds, making it an impressive representation of community pride.
Dave Mulcahy has pledged his support to the project by generously matching funds raised by the community, contributing a total of $20,000. His commitment underscores Monarch Materials Group's dedication to fostering community engagement and supporting local initiatives.

Monarch launches an exciting business transformation to be better positioned for opportunities in current & new markets and products.

Mo Warford, President of Monarch Materials Group, Inc. is thrilled to announce the promotion of three directors to work with her and Warren Terhorst, the VP of Sales to begin the transition to elevate Monarch in 2023 and beyond.

Stephani Johnson – Director of Finance. Stephani will lead the finance and purchasing functions. Stephani is a graduate of Simpson College with a degree in international management & finance. She also received her MBA from Drake University.

Jerry Kyle – Director of Manufacturing. Jerry will lead the manufacturing and logistics functions to help ensure quality products are made and delivered to Monarch customers. Jerry is a graduate of The University of Iowa with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration.

Jarrad Lehman – Director of Engineering. Jarrad will lead product and process engineering along with maintenance as Monarch automates and designs new products for the future. Jarrad is a graduate of Iowa State University with a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Technology.

Rick Pleinis – Monarch is excited to announce that Rick Pleinis has accepted the position of Denver Office Coordinator. Rick will be working in the Monarch Denver location helping to ensure orders are processed and delivered correctly, to meet our customer demand, and to help the company increase efficiency. Rick joined Monarch several years ago helping manage the warehouse and has worked closely with Joey over the years. Rick’s knowledge of our Denver location as well as his prior work experience interacting with our customers makes him the ideal candidate for the position.

​As the COVID-19 pandemic continues, Monarch continues to use innovative thinking to support our communities. Working closely with CIRAS, and the Iowa Department of Emergency Management, Monarch has begun to produce 3D printed face shields for the local health care community. The first batches have been delivered to clinics in Adel, Dallas Center, and Des Moines.
